Why I Write Healing Love Stories 💛

When I sit down to write, I’m not just telling a romance. I’m reaching for the pieces of myself that have been broken, bruised, or overlooked. Writing has always been my way of asking: what does it mean to be whole again?

I write healing love stories because I know what it feels like to carry pain, to question your worth, to wonder if love is meant for you at all. And I also know what it feels like to find hope again, to trust again, to be surprised by a love that feels safe, steady, and true.

Part of that is because I’m a hopeless romantic at heart. Even after all the hurt and heartbreak I’ve been through, I still believe in love. I believe in second chances, in healing, and in becoming a better version of yourself than you were in your last relationship. I believe in loving yourself first, so you never have to step back into something toxic, but instead can welcome love that honors who you are.

The Hard to Series was born from this space. These stories aren’t perfect fairytales, they’re messy, emotional, and rooted in real struggles. My characters face betrayal, heartbreak, self-doubt, and the long road of forgiveness. But through it all, they discover what I believe with my whole heart: that healing is possible, that love is worth fighting for, and that we are never too broken to be loved.

I write these stories for anyone who has ever felt like love was out of reach, for anyone still piecing themselves back together, for anyone learning to choose themselves and let love in again. Because at the end of the day, that’s what healing love stories are about, the courage to believe in love, even after the hurt.

Thank you for walking this journey with me. My hope is that when you turn the last page of one of my books, you’ll carry a little more hope, a little more faith, and a reminder that love, in all its forms, has the power to heal. Especially self love 🤍💛
